The Big Band Scene on KBEM Jazz 88 welcomes the Army Jazz Ambassadors to the Twin Cities this fall. The Ambassadors from Washington, DC are the premier touring big band of the U. S. Army, and one of the finest big bands in the world today. Since its formation in 1969, the 19-member ensemble has appeared all over the world. Under the direction of Chief Warrant Officer William McCullough, the Ambassadors present a diverse program of big band swing, Latin, contemporary jazz, standards, Dixie, vocal, and patriotic selections.

This concert is free. The beautiful Farmington High School Recital Hall seats 900, but get there early to get a good seat.

To hear a preview by the Jazz Ambassadors, listen to Big Band Scene on KBEM Jazz 88.5 FM on Sunday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 20 at 8 p.m.
