The Bands who are the finalists and their order of performance are:
Breakaway
Johnny Feds and Da Bluez Boyz
The East River Blues Band
The Steve Johnson Band
The Mick Hayes Band
The Judges will be: Hall of Fame DJ and WBGO’s Bob Porter; WFDU DJ E.B.Fisher; Past IBC Band winner Dave Keyes; Photographer Joe Rosen; and Bluesleaf Records Joe Morabia.
Co-Hosts will be Nicole Hart; Bob Putignano and Richard Ludmerer. Don’t worry it’ll be mostly Nicole.
On Bob Putignano’s “Sounds of Blue” broadcast Wednesday September 9th we will play one song by each of the five finalists.
Admission is $10.
The winning band will receive “all” the money collected at the door and a separate $250.00 check from an anonymous donation. Corporate donors are encouraged. They may contact Richard Ludmerer at [email protected]
We have tried to plan an enjoyable evening for everyone. Please come out and support us and your favorite band and lets send them packing and on their way to Memphis for The International Band Challenge to be held in Memphis January 20th – 23rd 2010.
