The Hank Johnson Trio featuring “Cool Mike" Fitzbenjamin on bass, Gary Smith on drums and Hank Johnson on acoustic grand piano will do two shows at the famous Harlem NY Jazz Club The Lenox Lounge 288 Lenox Avenue (Bet. 124th and 125th Streets in Harlem). The trio will play some standards and original compositions. Reservations are advised because of the heavy turnout, and it is expected to be room packed! Hank Johnson will articulate those notes on the piano, bringing the keyboard to life. Last year there was a packed house--and this year it will be more packed because people get to hear a real great pianist. For more information feel free to visit the Jazzbone Records website which has details and links to Lenox Lounge. Visit: http://www.jazzbonerecords.com While there peruse the sheet music section to get some new original tunes composed by Stuart H. Tresser, jazz pianist and composer. Some of the new titles include: “IT'S MY TUNE", “LONESOME VALENTINE", just penned this year. So. put down the following dates on your jazz calendar and come out to support live jazz entertainment at the Lenox Lounge in Harlem: Friday, January 2nd, 2004 and Saturday, January 3rd, 2004.
