The funky" Jazz4Peace Collective A world Peace & Humanitarian Band
Band Message:
Where there is conflict we play for reconciliation, Where there is terror we play for peace, Where there is hate we play for love, Where there is killing we play for peaceful Where there is disaster we play for humanity co-existence, unity, respect and freedom."
See you There...
Once again The funky guitar, drum and bass rhythm section will be laying down the funky 'peace beats' as the J4P brass section add their funky horns: as AKA Unison peace band, rocks London for peace.
The funky Jazz4Peace Collective:
It is in these perilous times in my opinon we need music, with a message that reflects the concerns of our world, that it is better to care and live in peace with one another than to attack and wage war and inturn cause hate and the death of innocents in a cycle of attack and counter attack.
We need to step back from the killing, war and terror, and wage Peace. Big Up the Peace". Our mission is to record a world peace and humanitarian album and to spread peace and love through our music.
This band dosen't use flower power but urban funk fused grooves that get you grab your conscienousness for peace. We are not a pop band, we are a Peace band.
The funky Jazz4Peace Collective Time Out quotes: (* red star = must go and see) A hot and funky nine-piece big band lead consciouness-raising peace session playing a contemporary take on jazz June 2004
(* red star = must go and see) Born out the 2003 Peace march they aim to spread peace and love through their music" July 2004
Jazz4peace are obviously very talented musicians" Tony Benn.
Jazz4Peace The United Nations are very grateful for your work towards peace" Kofi Annan. Since the band has formed it has fund raised for the British Red Cross, DEC, MAP, and will continue to raise funds to help innocent victims of war, terror and disaster.
