The Fins, hailing from New Jersey, have brought together several particularly rich musical styles to form one powerful, hard driving sound. During their tenure they have been the vanguard of rhythm and blues. The Fins are credited with bringing big band blues to the east coast; and their blend of rhythm and blues, jump, swing, jazz and the urban Chicago sound has been exciting audiences wherever they perform.

Since the group's inception, The Fins have performed and shared the stage with such legends as Robert Plant, BB King, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, John lee Hooker, Robert Cray, John Mayall,Johnny Winter, Clarence “Gatemouth" Brown, Phil Woods, AC Reed, KoKo Taylor, Mitch Woods, Lucky Peterson, Ronnie Earl, Otis Rush, Ray Charles, Bobby Rush and Mick Taylor. At the request of President Clinton, The Fins perform at numerous fund raisers in the in the tri-state area, performed at the Democratic Conventions in 1993 and 2000 and at Clinton's1993 Inaugural Gala in Landover, Maryland.

The Fins have toured the United States and Europe in support of their debut release, Bluesprint. In addition to their touring success, Bluesprint, was voted Best Debut CD by international blues publication, Real Blues magazine and is charting in all U.S. and European major markets and is included in WBGO's FM “88 Essential Blues Recordings". In 2001 The Fins won the New York Blues and Jazz Society regional competition in and represented New York in the National Blues Challenge in Memphis. Additionally, The Fins have performed at numerous corporate and political events. The short list includes parties for New Jersey Govenor, Jim McGreevy,United Airlines, Disney, Dupont, Lee's Carpets, Neocon, Contract Design, New Jersey Transit and Citizen Watch.

The Fins have released their anticipated second CD, “Superstar" and plan to tour extensively throughout 2002-03. Festival highlights include; The Jersey Jazz & Blues Festival, Wichita River Festival (Kansas),The Chicago Blues Festival, Ocho Rios Jazz and Blues Festival (Jamaica), Ottawa Blues Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, Vancouver Jazz/ Blues Festival, Lucerne Blues Session (Switzerland), Notodden Blues Festival (Norway), Bishopstock Blues Festival, (UK), Great British R & B Festival (UK), Jubileums Blues Festival (Norway), Voss Blues & Roots Festival (Norway),The Heineken Black & Blues Festival (Israel), Bayfront Blues Festival (Duluth) and the Harvest Blues Festival (Ireland).
