THE BOOK OF NATIONS PAYS TRIBUTE TO JAZZ SINGERS AND MUSICIANS, AND WORLD'S PROMINENT ACHIEVERS.

New York-NY. Amazon.com Company has just published - The Book Of Nations: Leaders, Stars, Celebrities, Lifestyles and Entertainment - written by Maximillien de Lafayette. The book is a joint publication of Amazon, Times Square Press, and the Federation of American Musicians, Singers and Performing Artists (FAMSPA).

It is a huge tome of 738 pages analyzing major issues and listing the top 100 people and ideas in numerous endeavors, ranging from music, Jazz, and entertainment to US foreign policies, world leaders, and politicians. An interesting chapter on how to socialize and deal with foreigners - particularly women - in 135 countries sheds new light on how the world conceives Americans and vice versa.

Jazz stars occupied a place of honor in the book. It is evident that Jazz now, is recognized worldwide as a major force in the world of entertainment. Along with listing world leaders, illustrious achievers and top celebrities, 40 American Jazz singers and musicians, 2 entertainment writers, one DJ/ radio celebrity, and one Jazz website Editor-in-Chief appeared in the favorite lists.

The author chose the most important characteristic features and particularities of each country worldwide, to acquaint the readers with the social fabric of each nation. In his selection, Jazz was the predominant art platform of American cultural and artistic heritage. Among the top honorees in the entertainment section, were B.B. King, Quincy Jones, Cousin Brucie (Bruce Morrow), Madonna, Michael Ricci, Maureen McGovern, Elton John, Nancy Kelly, Suzanne Grzanna, Katie Bull, Cynthia Basinet, and Marlene VerPlanck. It is a fascinating and a clever book. Informative and equally fun.
