Legendary Danish-born saxophonist John Tchicai returns to New England in December for four performances with a newly-formed trio featuring veteran Boston-based musicians, saxophonist Charlie Kohlhase and guitarist Garrison Fewell. This tour marks the first-ever performances by this trio and their repertoire will feature original music by all three musicians.
Best known for his pioneering 1960's free jazz collaborations with musicians like Albert Ayler and John Coltrane, Tchicai has worked with Kohlhase on projects like the Grammy
