The highly talked about and popular London jazz entertainer Symeon Cosburn made his first appearance on stage at The Joogleberry Playhouse in Brighton on the evening of Saturday 11th February.

Those lucky enough to get tickets for this sold out performance were treated to songs from his forthcoming debut album on OT Records as well as some surprise guests. Among those that took to the stage was New York comic actress and jazz singer Lea DeLaria, a self-confessed fan of Mr. Cosburn. The two performed an exceptional version of “Twisted" as a duet that brought the audience to their feet. Symeon's debut album Breakfast With The Blues, which features a jazz re-working of The Stranglers' “Golden Brown," will be released in March 2006.

He and his band will be returning to The Playhouse later in the year.
