Like on the other 2 cds, all compositions are written by the band itself.
Special guests are Fred Wesley, trombone-player and ex-band leader of James Brown.
Because Fred Wesley enjoyed the recordings with Susanne Alt in the summer of 2008, so he invited her back this February for a little tour with his own band through Holland and France.
The Susanne Alt Quartet has been on TV only this year already twice, once they performed at a Dutch talkshow and the other appearance was an interview and performing for in total 15 minutes in a music program. The cd-release tour was succesful as well; the Bimhuis in Amsterdam was sold out! The band is planning many concerts in 2009 and 2010 again.
