Survival Never Tasted so Good: Sirius Hits 20 Millionth Subscriber...

Safe from the land of Bankruptia, the Sirius survivors are now tasting sweet subscriber fruit. The company hit its 20 millionth subscriber today, right on schedule. “We have added the last 10 million subscribers faster than the first 10 million—despite a tremendously competitive environment," said Sirius CEO Mel Karmazin.

On the dealmaking side, Sirius has now re-inked a five-year pact with the NFL, a “tentpole" according to president and chief content officer Scott Greenstein. But, no word yet on Howard Stern, where no news is bad news.

Back to the party, Paul McCartney is gearing up to celebrate the milestone with December 13th performance at the Apollo. Yes, Harlem's world famous Apollo Theater, a first for McCartney.
