Steve Getz, former music director of Fat Tuesday's, The Blue Note, and Brooklyn's Steve Getz Music Hall, is presenting free jazz and classical concerts at St. Cabrini, a nursing home on the Hudson River in Dobbs Ferry, New York (Westchester County).
The concerts, featuring established jazz veterans as well as gifted young classical artists, take place every Saturday afternoon at 2:30 PM. While the artists perform for the elderly patients, the public is welcome to attend; reservations, which are on a limited basis due to the setting, can be made by calling Mr. Getz at 917-406-4453.
