"Spring Awakening Holiday Concert" and “A Night O’Naughton" Among December Highlights of Ghostlight Records' Late-Night Series at Joe's Pub

Julia Murney Performs This Coming Monday

Ghostlight Records looks forward to two special events in December, both part of the label's Late-Night Concert Series at Joe's Pub:

The Spring Awakening Holiday Concert
December 15th, at 11:30pm
A Benefit for SafePlace

The 12/15 concert will feature the current cast of the Broadway show “Spring Awakening," as well as special guest, original cast member and Tony-Award nominee Jonathan Groff. The evening will feature all new arrangements of Holiday songs by “Spring Awakening" vocal arranger Ann Marie Milazzo, and will be musically directed by Kimberly Grigsby. Tickets are $25, and may be purchased here: http://www.joespub.com/component/option,com_shows/task,view/Itemid,40/id,4302

The evening’s proceeds will benefit SafePlace, 'a nationwide organization whose Mission is to provide access to immediate help and supportive resources for all young people in crisis through a network of sites sustained by qualified agencies, trained volunteers and businesses.' http://nationalsafeplace.org/aboutus/

In the weeks leading up to the Holiday Benefit, Ghostlight celebrates two of their favorite artists, Kelli O'Hara and Greg Naughton:

A Night O’Naughton
December 1st, at 11:30pm

Kelli O'Hara (Naughton) is a little bit Broadway and Greg Naughton is a little bit Rock 'n Roll. After meeting at a Sh-K-Boom event six years ago (true), the Naughtons bring their music (and friends) together for a special genre-mixing late night show.

Kelli O'Hara performs an eclectic mix of theater songs, selections from her solo CD 'Wonder In The World', and a surprise or two.

The Sweet Remains (Featuring Greg Naughton, Rich Price & Brian Chartrand) bring their neo-classic folk-rock songs and lush harmonies back to Joe's. Tickets are $25.

Also, this coming Monday, 11/24, at 11:30pm, don't miss Julia Murney's late-night concert at Joe's Pub. Murney released her debut solo album “I’m Not Waiting" on Sh-K- Boom Records, and is also featured on their all-star “Hair" recording. Tickets are $15.

Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight presents a weekly concert series at Joe's Pub, every Monday night at 11:30 PM, beginning in September and continuing through December. The label will offer concerts featuring Broadway performers and composers, The Midnight Musicals with concert versions of new and developing productions, and much more. The concert series marks a throwback to the early days of Sh-K-Boom Records, when they offered popular late night concerts in their Sh-K-Boom Room.
