SOUL OF THE BLUES, a monthly series of Blues and Soul concerts at Greenwich Village's famous Cornelia Street Cafe, is delighted to present its first Summer Festival - six straight nights of the best live Blues and Soul music by some of the finest artists and bands from the Tri-State area (and beyond)!
In this great city of New York with its eight million people, there is NOTHING ELSE like it.
The best in authentic country blues, jammin' blues-rock, horn-driven soul and even modern R&B will be represented during the Festival's six nights. But this is no outdoor free-for-all, with all the attendant woes - paying those high admission charges, parking, worrying about the weather, drinking plastic cups of warm beer, hoping the food vendors have washed their hands. There'll be NONE OF THAT at Cornelia Street Cafe, a classy, intimate venue in the heart of Manhattan's most legendary arts district. Cornelia Street Cafe is located at 29 Cornelia St. (just off Bleecker St.) in Manhattan's Greenwich Village neighborhood.
SCHEDULE: Tues. July 26 - 8:30 PM to 11 PM Wed. July 27 - 8:30 PM to 11 PM Thurs. July 28 - 8:30 PM to 11 PM Fri. July 29 - 8:30 PM to 1 AM Sat. July 30 - 8:30 PM to 1 AM Sun. July 31 - 7 PM to 11 PM
ADMISSION: - $7 on Tues., Wed. & Thurs. - $10 on Fri., Sat. & Sun. ----or---- - Six-Night Festival Pass, $40 plus $6 food/drink minimum
