Singer Steve Tyrell Set for Annual Barry Price Center Fundraiser Saturday Oct 27

The Price Center Celebrates 30 Years!

Greater Boston's 17th annual Barry L. Price Rehabilitation Center Fundraiser and Concert will this year feature singer Steve Tyrell on Saturday, October 27 at the Holiday Inn Brookline. The Holiday Inn is located at 1200 Beacon Street, Brookline, Massachusetts; it is wheelchair accessible.

This gala event will this year also celebrate 30th Anniversary of the founding of the Barry Price Center. Funds raised will benefit the Barry L. Price Rehabilitation Center, Inc., a non-profit organization with facilities located in West Newton, Brookline, and Dedham, Massachusetts. The Center provides support services to adults with developmental disabilities. At the Center, individuals are provided with opportunities in community- based work as well as treatment and living environments aimed to enhance self confidence and to maximize independence.

All Price Center donors will enjoy the performance by Steve Tyrell at 6:30 P.M. in the hotel Ballroom. An extravagant buffet dinner featuring fine cuisines of all kinds, caviar, cocktails, fine wines, coffees, and delicious desserts of all kinds will follow in the hotel lobby, beginning at 8:30 P.M. The rhythm & blues group The G Clefs will provide upbeat entertainment during the buffet.

Grammy Award-winning vocalist Steve Tyrell is truly a renaissance man. In his 4 decades in the music business he has achieved great success as an artist, producer, songwriter, music supervisor and performer. He is a Grammy winning producer and a two time Emmy nominee. His productions have won numerous Grammys and have been nominated for Academy and Golden Globe Awards as well.

As a music supervisor and music producer for film and TV, Tyrell has worked with such distinguished directors as Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Nancy Meyers, Betty Thomas and Charles Shyer.
