Banking off the success of their triumphant three-song return at the Beacon Theatre last month, Simon and Garfunkel may be preparing to kick off a reunion tour New Zealand, CNN reports. Paul Simon’s manager told Rolling Stone following the Beacon shows that “there have been conversations taking place, but nothing has been confirmed” regarding a reunion tour. Sources now say that the duo will begin rehearsing in May in New York before launching their tour the following month in Kiwiland.

The pair last reunited for their 2003-’04 Old Friends Tour, which reportedly grossed around $123 million. “Because we do this every 10 or 12 years, this is probably the last time we’re going to do this,” Simon had said then. Following the Beacon, Garfunkel called the crowd’s response “extraordinary.” “I said to the audience, ‘You don’t have a right to expect — and we didn’t expect — that the interest in us would last and you would still care right to today and I’m touched,’” Garfunkel told the BBC following the show.
