Sierra Jazz Society Concert Series With Faculty And Students

Sierra Jazz Society Presents our second concert in our Winter Concert series. It's Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 2 p.m. the location is Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains at 246 S. Church St., Grass Valley. Bill Douglass leads the faculty, friends and students of Sierra Jazz Society in a concert full of variety and wonderful jazz. Special guest artist, jazzharpist Motoshi Kosako will join us for this concert.

Complementary coffee and snacks at the intermission and wine will be available for purchase. Sierra Jazz Society's Director, Bill Douglass, has played for 20 years with Marian McPartland, Mose Allison and hundreds of other great musicians.

In this concert, the faculty will perform and also back up the students who have been studying with SJS teachers.
