SFJAZZ in association with the Jazzschool presents a “Meet the Masters" workshop for musicians with the SFJAZZ Collective. Open to serious musicians and students of jazz, this hands-on “informance" includes demonstration and discussion. Seating is limited; reservations are highly recommended. Thursday, March 10, 2-4pm $20 general admission
The SFJAZZ Collective is a resident ensemble of SFJAZZ, the San Francisco Jazz Organization. The SFJAZZ Collective features: Bobby Hutcherson, vibraphone/marimba; Joshua Redman, saxophones (Artistic Director): Miguel Zenon, alto saxophone; Nicholas Payton, trumpet; Isaac Smith, trombone; Renee Rosnes, piano; Matt Penman, bass; Eric Harland, drums. Meet the Masters is a project of SFJAZZ, a non-profit presenter of jazz music and educational programs. SFJAZZ Collective Spring Season 2005 residency actitivies are made possible in part by The James Irvine Foundation.
