Seattle's 'Premier' Jazz & Blues Club Opens on February 3, 2004

On Tuesday, February 3rd Washington State's newest concert venue will officially open for business with the first of many Tuesday night Jazz & Blues concerts. The facility is called “The Premier" and features both a 1300 person capacity “concert hall" as well as a 270 person live music “club". This is a brand new facility at 1700 1 Ave. S. (1 block south of Safeco Field) in Seattle that was previously a warehouse and has been converted to what can only be described as a first-class music palace! The Premier Music “Club" features a brand new outstanding house sound and lighting system with a large stage, full restaurant and bar, large dance floor, and plenty of parking. Tuesday nights will be Jazz & Blues night's starting next Tuesday, the 3rd. Featuring the best in NW Jazz & Blues for a $5 cover, the music will run from 8-11pm.

The Tuesday Jazz & Blues series will lead off with a relatively new band that includes one of the most respected guitar players around, Tom “T-Boy Neal" Boyle. Come and see Becki Sue & Her Big-Rockin' Daddies with T-Boy on Tuesday, Feb. 3rd.

Tuesday, February 10th will see often decorated Seattle Blues guitar man Mark Whitman at The Premier.

Tuesday, February 17th will feature The Henry Cooper Band.

One of the most popular Blues bands from the recent past, The Nightsticks have reformed and are looking forward to rockin' your socks off on the last Tuesday in February with new members Erica Kelsey on vocals, Jeff Hayes on drums, and newest member “Big" Bill Mattocks on vocals and harp.

Jazz & Blues fans, you deserve a place like this to come and experience your music. Jazz & Blues artists, you deserve a place like this to play your music. Come and experience “The Premier" Jazz & Blues experience every Tuesday starting the first Tuesday in February. You deserve it!
