JAZZ TRUMPETER SEAN JONES TO PERFORM HITS FROM HIS LATEST ALBUM “GEMINI” AT J&R MUSIC AND COMPUTER WORLD ON TUESDAY, JULY 19TH Jazz trumpet player Sean Jones will be promoting his new album Gemini, with a free performance and autograph signing at J&R Music and Computer World (23 Park Row, 2nd Floor) on Tuesday, July 19th starting at 12:30 PM.
Jones’ much anticipated sophomore album Gemini was recently released by Mack Avenue Label on June 28, 2005 and features his innovative sound on 16 tracks. Jones’ music combines acoustic swing, electric grooves, acid jazz, funk, R&B and gospel creating a soulful album that is sure to please fans.
Captured by the “swing” of Jazz, Jones took up the trumpet in the fifth grade and has been making beautiful music ever since. After earning a degree in classical trumpet performance from Youngstown State University, Jones entered the music scene and quickly made his name known with the release of his debut album Eternal Sunshine in 2003. Now, 27 years old, Jones is ready to wow audiences again with Gemini which features many of the same artists from his first album and showcases his stellar chops on the trumpet.
