Roswell Roots Festival Celebrates Black History of Classic Jazz

Join us for an evening of Classic Jazz in a cabaret table setting. We’ll transform the Roswell VFW into a New Orleans style club to celebrate the works of jazz greats King Oliver, Kid Ory, Jelly Roll Morton and the great Louis Armstrong. Philip Carroll of The Atlanta Jazz Party handpicked the All Star lineup from New Orleans including Jason Marsalis on drums, James Singleton on bass, Steve Pistorius on piano, Duke Heitger on trumpet; Evan Christopher on clarinet and vocalist Topsy Chapman. A Full Service Bar and what is jazz without food? Chef Hoyt Williams of Artisan Foods will be on site serving the best from his family’s New Orleans kitchen (food available for purchase).
