Saxophonist Rob Scheps performs an all Coltrane program Wednesday September 22nd,2004 .The show is Scheps' 7th annual Coltrane birthday concert. This year's show is at Adobe Bar in the Taos Inn, Taos, New Mexico. 6:30 - 9:30 pm, no Cover !
Scheps will play tenor & soprano saxes; joined by Paul Fowler (piano);Robin Abeles (bass) ; and Cullen Winter (drums).
A Love Supreme will be played, along with many pieces from all periods of John Coltrane's career.
The show will also include the world premiere of Scheps', “The Wurlitzer Waltz", dedicated to the late Elvin Jones.
