Saxophonist Rob Scheps will pay tribute to late tenor great Gregory Herbert on the 25th Anniversary of his death. Vancouver drummer Morgan Childs will join Scheps at The Upstage in Port Townsend, WA this Wednesday January 29th from 7:00 to 8:30pm. The duo will play pieces associated with Greg Herbert and recordings and remembrances of Herbert.
The show is all ages and is presented by Centrum, an Arts organization in Port Townsend for whom Scheps is currently engaged in a month long residency for composition.
