Saxophonist Rob Scheps & Oregon bassist Glen Moore have a unique Duo which makes rare appearances,; this is the first in 2005. After 10 years of intimate yet rollicking duo shows, the pair wil play this Friday , September 9th at the Tugboat Brewpub, downtown Portland's favorite haunt for creative jazz. Music includes Towner & Moore compositions from the rep of the group Oregon, standards, and surprises. Selections from their 1999 hit Trio disc with singer Nancy King , “King On The Road"(Cardas) will also be played.
