Rob Scheps 16 Piece Big Band in Portland, Oregon Shows and upcoming CD with Chuck Israels

Former New Yorker and Saxophone virtuoso Rob Scheps brings his 16 Piece Big Band back to Disjecta for two Spring Shows.Sunday April 27th and Tuesday May 27th , the group will perform at Disjecta, a hip Loft Space/Art Gallery in Portland, Oregon. Featured in the all star aggregate are trumpeters Paul Mazzio, Jay Thomas and Greg Garrett,pianist Sid Bos, saxophonists Tim Jensen & Scott Hall, and drummer Alan Jones among others.

The shows are 9pm - 12:30, all ages, no smoking with a low affordable cover.

Scheps' Big Band is gearing up for their upcoming cd recording sessions featuring former Bill Evans Trio bassist Chuck Israels. Disjecta is at 116 NE Russell Street, Portland, Oregon; (503) 335-6979 for reservations and info.
