Richard Bliwas at CBGB 313 Gallery, Wednesday, January 21 at 9pm

Walk the Bike, Richard's first CD has recently charted in jazz, alternative, folk and americana college radio charts (this is a problem folks...) and has been effusively praised by The Big Takeover, Performing Songwriter, Dirty Linen, Shredding Paper, and Cadence Magazine among others. This rare underground CD also contains a 32 page booklet designed by New York Artist Rika Nakaya, and is available at Tower Records RichardBliwas.com, and the show.

I swear, Walk the Bike is the happiest, sweetest, goofiest, most optimistic album I've heard in a long time, without -- get this -- ever being smarmy or sappy or stupid ... positively uplifting ... arrangements that are simple and perfect...
