Guitarist Mike Gellar, founder of MIKE'S MASTER CLASSES, today announced the launching of a new service that affords students, master musicians, and educators across the globe an opportunity to come together in a virtual classroom where they will study together and network.

Unlike other on-line classes, MIKE'S MASTER CLASSES is live and interactive. Students can see, hear, and interact with the masters as well as the other on-line class members. No downloaded software is required. All an attendee needs is the ability to browse the internet with a high-speed connection. Enrollment has already begun on the MikesMasterClasses.com website and is a quick and secure transaction using the PayPal link and either a credit card or a PayPal account.

“Mike Gellar has come up with a real serendipity here. I have accumulated students worldwide due to my extensive travels as a performer and teacher of jazz guitar. Mike's Master Classes now make it possible to be here now, in real time, so I may be able to continue teaching my concepts in Tokyo, London, Paris, LA, Miami, Hilo, or anywhere on earth without leaving home! Mike's Master Classes is on the cutting edge of true interactive teacher-to-student activities. Thank you, Mike!" --Tony DeCaprio

The first series of classes will concentrate on jazz guitar. Mike has engaged the following Guitar Masters--some of the top performers and educators in the world--for his initial summer 2006 learning sessions:

Tony DeCaprio: June 15 and 24
Steve Herberman: June 21 and July 13
Jack Wilkins: June 28
Sheryl Bailey: July 19
Sid Jacobs: July 26

Other noteworthy guitarists, vocalists, and a variety of instrumentalists have signed-on to share their wealth of knowledge in future Master Class sessions. Further class offerings will be announced soon.

“Just imagine being able to attend a one-and-one-half hour Master Class that fits into your schedule, without needing to contact the Master, trying to find a date and time that you are both available, and spending your time and money to travel to and from the Master's location! The only time you will need to allocate is for the actual session itself," explains Mike Gellar.
