It's been 8 years since Under The Lake last performed as a group in front of an audience. The
talented fusion group, based out of San Diego for most of the 90's, is reuniting for a one-time
performance in Seattle on September 16th. The appearance will be at the Columbia City Theater,
a restored vaudevillian theater (www.columbiacitytheater.com).

The group, including all of the members from their most recent tour will perform material from
their 2 CD's “Up For Air" (Offshore Music) and “Dive In" (Offshore Music) as well as new
compositions. In addition to band founder and leader, Jayson Tipp on keyboards, “electric
guitar fancyman" David Harris, bassist Nathan Brown (Alexander Zonjic,
The Boneshakers, Scott Wilkie Band, Charlie Musslewhite, Willie Nelson), drummer-journeyman
Richard Sellers, and saxophonist Quintin Gerard W will appear. Quintin will be taking a
time-out from supporting his solo release “Fnkysax" (otsmusic, www.otsmusic.com).

Under The Lake broke new ground in 1994 with the release of the first CD “Dive In" receiving
critical praise and national airplay. According to Jonathan Widran at www.allmusic.com:
“The genre needs all the new creative energies it can muster from ensembles like
Under the Lake, which balances its smooth pop ideas with rougher edges bordering on rough
fusion." Plans are being made to record and video tape the event for possible future release.
