The music streamer is nearing a US deal with Sony Entertainment and has gained the support of at least one other major label group, two music industry sources have told the NY Post. “Spotify is launching in the US, for sure," according to one music executive “They've got the deals now."
A Spotify spokesman refused to confirm the deals. “Negotiations are progressing well, but [we have] nothing to confirm at this stage," he said.
