The 16th annual Rehoboth Beach Autumn Jazz Festival, which kicked off Wednesday, continues through Sunday with headliners including Al Jarreau, Bob James, Booker T. & the MGs, and Al Green.
The Delaware Celebration of Jazz Inc. organization has booked an increasingly large number of national names from in and around the jazz, blues and pop genres. Its inaugural spring companion festival, the June 4-5 Blues at the Beach event, featured a sold-out performance by B.B. King. Headliners at previous autumn festivals have included Chaka Kahn, Peabo Bryson, Jeffrey Osborne and others.
A ticket center will be staffed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today through Saturday at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, 229 Rehoboth Ave. For more information, call (800) 29-MUSIC.
