A college and university jazz professor Dr. Ravita hosts a weekly radio program on WMTB 89.9 FM. He has shared the stage with jazz greats Jimmy Heath, Bobby Shew, Claudio Roditi and Ruby Glover, appearing in countless clubs, concert halls and festivals. He won critical acclaim for his work on the 2021 recording Jagged Spaces, released Oriana with his band, Ravita Jazz in 2023.
