The Iridium Jazz Club is pleased to present RANDY BRECKER / BILL EVANS SOULBOP BAND Tuesday-Sunday,August 24-29.
Multi award winners Randy Brecker and Bill Evans joined forces in 2003 to form a new group they billed as THE SOULBOP BAND, a mixture of soul, bop and contemporary Jazz.
After a highly successful 2004 summer European tour, Randy and Bill return to New York City with their all-star band featuring Hiram Bullock on guitar, Victor Bailey on bass, Dave Kikoski on keyboards and Steve Smith on drums, as well as co-leaders / composers Bill Evans on saxophone and Randy Brecker on trumpet for an intimate six night club appearance.
This exciting, entirely new group will perform music which will include music from Randy Brecker's 2004 Grammy
