This follow-up to his 2002 debut, Centric (Telepathy Records), was recorded and mixed by Jamie Saft, and features Robbins' working sextet with Sam Sadigursky (reeds), Eliot Krimsky (keyboards), Mike Gamble (guitar), Thomas Morgan (bass) and Dan Weiss (drums). The group will play the Copenhagen Jazz Festival in July and is currently booking a fall tour of the Northeast (U.S.).

Since coming to New York in 2002, following studies at Boston's New England Conservatory and Tufts University, he has worked steadily with his own group as well as in collaboration with musicians such as Mark Dresser, Randy Peterson, Daniel Levin and Mary Halvorson. He performs regularly as a leader in a variety of New York clubs and in early Spring 2006 toured the East Coast from Washington, D.C. to Maine with his sextet in anticipation of the release of Waits & Measures. His work as a composer and bandleader recently earned him a 2006 Chamber Music America composition grant.
