World class composers/musicians David Soldier (Bo Diddley, Roscoe Mitchell, Thai Elephant Orchestra), Gene Pritsker (Matrix Resurrections, Joe Zawinul), Jason Kao Hwang, and Robert C. Ford gather for a salon concert.
On Thursday January 11, 2023, at 7:30pm EST a concert will be held at the Sky Vault in the Financial District of New York City. It will feature original music and poetry by world class performers in an intimate salon atmosphere. This event is private but a free livestream is available via the Ticket Link below to the Facebook event page.
Featured performers include David Soldier violin/acoustic guitar, Jason Kao Hwang violin, Gene Pritsker electric guitar and Robert C. Ford poet. Special guests will include Charles Coleman baritone.
This will be concert #30 of a long-running series of “Low Key" Chamber Concerts at the Sky Vault hosted by Composers Concordance, an eclectic concert series, ensemble, record label, and presenting organization for music with a 39-year history of premiering good music that pushes the boundaries of sound and composition.
Previous Sky Vault concerts have featured Carli Muñoz (piano—Beach Boys), Paul Nowinski (double bass—Les Paul, Keith Richards, Sting), Jay Rodriguez (saxophone—Groove Collective, Miles Davis), and Rob Schwimmer (theremin—Wayne Shorter, Paul Simon, Bette Midler, Esperanza Spalding).
