Nicky Depaola's 2003 release is taking off. Featuring sax legend Ernie Watts and Jerry Stucker guitar/producer. DePaola's “Uptown Mood" recorded at Capitol Studios (Hollywood) and Different Fur Recording (San Francisco) is a collection of hip jazz standards “Funked Up". After touring and some radio support Nicky's fan base is beginning to increase rapidly. Nicky is now working on some smooth jazz originals for his upcoming 2005 scheduled release. “Uptown Mood" is on the Los Angeles based indie label Rhombus Records.
