New Venue in Europe - Petofi Mozi Music Pub, Szekesfehervar, Hungary‏

The venue is in town of Szekesfehervar (Hungary), placed in neighbourhood of beautiful historical downtown. The objective is to invite the contemporary hungarian jazz greats and give performance opportunities to hungarian jazz scholars as well as to present to hungarian audience what is new on the worldwide jazz and creative music scene.

For the latest we have a special series of gigs called N.O.E.W.A. Jazz Workshop Series. The N.O.E.W.A. has its own website with lots of information on musicians, the past and forthcoming gigs, as well as the latest news on jazz.

Occasionally there are blues, rhythm & blues, folk and world music performances.

Petofi Mozi Music Pub has hosted such jazz greats as Alexander von Sclippenbach, Evan Parker, Paul Lovens, Joe Fonda, Matthew Shipp, Dave Rempis, Jeb Bishop, Nate McBride & Tim Daisy.
