New England Conservatory announces residency by jazz drummer Lewis Nash April 10-12 and NEC Jazz Orchestra Concert led by NEC faculty George Russell April 24

New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts is pleased to announce a residency by jazz drummer Lewis Nash including masterclasses and a concert, all free and open to the public, as part of the Jazz Masters Residency Program April 10-12.



Lewis Nash is a leading jazz drummer with over 250 recordings to his credit including the Grammy-award winning “Look What I Got" by jazz vocalist Betty Carter, the Grammy-award nominated “Random Abstract “ by saxophonist Branford Marsalis and the Grammy-award nominated “Sea Changes" by the Tommy Flanagan Trio. Nash was a member of the Tommy Flanagan Trio from 1990 to 2000 and was featured on six other CD recordings with the piano master. Nash
