Ken Dryden, who wrote Ask Ken (since November 2000) and co-edited the AAJ Trivia Quiz, announces a brand new column called Not For Sale.
Ken has recorded a number of non-commercial jazz broadcasts for his collection over the past 27 years, while doing a little trading with other collectors as well. “Not For Sale" will review some of these programs, listing songs, personnel, recording dates and broadcast dates (the latter two if known). Part of the intent is to make jazz fans aware of a hidden treasure trove of music of which they may be unaware. Since Ken's collection numbers in the hundreds of cassettes and CDRs, he has plenty of material for his column, with lots of new items being added weekly.
