New York, NY - November 2006 - Keyboardist and music educator Neil Woodard kicks off the holiday season on a jazzy note with an after work showcase at Harlem's National Black Theatre (2031 Fifth Avenue (between 125th & 126th Streets) in Manhattan on Friday, December 8, 2006, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Woodard, who recently served as a music instructor at the Tito Puente Performing Arts Academy in East Harlem, will be joined by several of his Incredible Friends" including percussionist/conguero Eric Frazier, Berklee grad David Lee Jones, guitarist extraordinaire Wayne Jeffries, drummer John Cooksie, multi-instrumentalist Veronica White, and vocalists Annette St. John, Teralynn Elan, Kim Ramirez, and Juanita Faulkner.
Tickets for the show, which will include an art exhibition, wine tasting, refreshments and the Latin-jazz sounds of the Incredible Friends are $20 and can be purchased in advance at The National Black Theatre from Nabii Faison, events manager for NBT weekdays between 10 AM and 5 PM.
