NAXOS JAZZ ARTIST PEKKA PYLKKANEN AT CORNELIA STREET CAFE



Saxophonist and composer Pekka Pylkkanen from Finland is bringing his group “Tube Factory" to one of the most popular New York jazz clubs, Cornelia St. Cafe, on Sunday, January 8th.

The American edition of this group features Mika Pohjola, piano; Steve Doyle, bass; and Roland Schneider, drums.

Mr. Pylkknen has recently toured with his group throughout South America, China and Scandinavia. The group has recorded two CDs for the Naxos Jazz label.

Sets at Cornelia Street Cafe on Sunday, January 8th at 8:30.and 10 p.m. Cover charge 8 $ plus a minimum of 6 $ per set. This concert is supported by the Consulate General of Finland.
