MuthaWit Orchestra and Spottiswoode & His Enemies perform 8/5/06 for Urb Alt Festival Day 3 in Harlem, NYC

New York-- Urb Alt Festival: Urb Alt Comes To Harlem continues August 5, 2006 with a special performance by the 15 piece MuthaWit Orchestra joined by the award winning Spottiswoode & His Enemies. This incredible dual bill happens at Alfred Lerner Hall on the campus of Columbia University. The MuthaWit Orchestra features members who have played with Funkadelic, Butch Morris, Andy Bey, Bill Laswell, etc. They will be appearing for the first time in NYC since their recent acclaimed performance and interview on Bet's J List. The evening also features special guests from New York's rock/soul/jazz scene.

Show promoters will also be passing out raffle tickets for a brand new Violet Starburst Elite guitar by festival sponsor Daisy Rock. The guitar will be given away to a lucky winner on September 9th at the Urb Alt Festival Apollo Theater grand finale.
