MTT: Is Your Music Lost in Translation?

In his recent post, Max Willens explores the difficulty of translating and bringing ideas into the real world. He references a New York Times editorial, Found in Translation, which describes the challenge of transforming an idea into a novel. Similarly, artists struggle with how satisfied they are with their work. Max brings up some interesting questions about how initial ideas change when artists collaborate with engineers to clean up tracks, mix, etc.
