Unique Opportunity to Gain Valuable Experience in Festival Production, Assist Patrons as MJF Ambassadors, Participate Behind-the-Scenes at MJF Events
Monterey, CAThe Monterey Jazz Festival is looking for volunteers for a variety of positions, available September 13 through September 20, 2010. Volunteer opportunities range from office work to assisting stage crews to helping Festival partners interact with fans. Volunteering offers a unique experience for everyone from students to seniors, whether working behind the scenes or in a crowd. Volunteers are needed now through the Festival, with the greatest number of positions available starting Monday, September 13, and continuing through Monday, September 20. The Festival has a special need for volunteers early in the Festival week, to help set up this major event, the world's best jazz festival. Volunteers typically work six-hour shifts, and are able to stay on the grounds before or after their shift to enjoy the music.

You will find a link to volunteer information and an application form. The form can also be downloaded, printed, and faxed back to the Festival at 831-373-0244. Volunteers will be notified if accepted, with a job description and hours based on your preferences.
