Live Nation is bowing its concert promotion business in Australia, the seventh-largest music market.
Roger Field has been tapped as VP of promotions, Australia and New Zealand. Hong Kong-based Luke Hede has been named VP of promotions for the Pacific Rim.
“Over the last decade, Live Nation has been involved with some of the most successful tours throughout Australia and New Zealand, including U2, the Rolling Stones and many others," said Live Nation Intl. CEO Alan Ridgeway. “The time is right to establish our own presence."
