India will host a Live Earth concert this year, Agence France-Presse reported. The event, scheduled for Dec. 7 in Mumbai, is to raise money for solar energy and will feature musicians and other entertainers.

The lineup has not been determined, but Jon Bon Jovi has announced that he will take part. The concert will also feature Bollywood stars, including Amitabh Bachchan and his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, as well as the Indian director Shekhar Kapur. Live Earth was founded by Kevin Wall, who with Al Gore organized a series of concerts on seven continents over 24 hours on July 7 last year.
