At AC Pianocraft, Monday June 5th, 8PM, Lenore Raphael, called simply one of the best pianists in jazz today" (writer John Gilbert), performs standards and originals dedicated to the musicians and victims of hurricane Katrina.
Joining her trio (Hilliard Greene on bass and Rudy Lawless on drums)will be Kuni Mikami, himself a great, swinging player. The two will perform on two back-to-back 7 foot Steinway grands.
This is the last concert of the series produced by Roberta on the Arts at the AC Pianocraft concert showroom. Proceeds will benefit the New Orleans musicians fund.
