Hi friends, others:

After a great six-month run at the legendary jazz club Birdland, SINGING ASTAIRE will close on Sunday, May 15, after over one hundred performances.

Please join Hilary Kole, Christopher Gines, and Eric Comstock (with bassist Marcus McLaurine and drummer David Meade) for one (or all!) of our final four shows:

Saturday, May 14 Sunday, May 15

ALL SHOWS @ 5:30pm BIRDLAND: 315 West 44--bet. 8 & 9 Reservations: 212.581.3080

After “getting away" with a singing tribute to Frank Sinatra (the chutzpah! as the Episcopalians say), I was dubious about attempting to salute another icon, nor was I eager to subject a paying audience to my dancing. Hilary & Chris insisted, and I'm delighted to be wrong, for I feel this show far surpasses OUR SINATRA. Certainly, the Fred Astaire Songbook cannot be beat: “They Can't Take That Away From Me", “A Foggy Day", “Night & Day", “Nice Work If You Can Get It", “Puttin' On The Ritz", and “Let's Face The Music & Dance".

See you then!
