LAUNCH OF NEW MONTREAL EVENT CENTRE, THEATRE SPACE, EDUCATIONAL FACILITY: KoSA CENTRE for the ARTS/ KoSA CENTRE DES ARTS

Wednesday September 9, 2009 - Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Announcing the launch of the KoSA Centre for the Arts/KoSA Centre des Arts, one of Montreals newest additions to this citys live performance and event spaces. The KoSA Centre for the Arts will mark this occasion with events on September 16th and 17th, 2009.

The KoSA Centre for the Arts was founded by Mr. Nick Patulli, a Montreal/Notre-Dame-de-Grce (NDG) based businessman and developer; by Mr. Aldo Mazza, KoSA Music Founder/Artistic Director/Percussionist/Educator, and Mr. Mazzas wife, Dr. Joln Kovcs-Mazza, KoSA Events Coordinator. Mr. Patulli was inspired by his sons musical education at the Montreal based KoSA Music Academy, and this led to the creation of the KoSA Centre for the Arts: a permanent home for the KoSA Music Academy, and new permanent event and performance centre based in Montreals NDG neighbourhood.

The KoSA Centre for the Arts is a four story, free-standing, multi-faceted complex on Crowley Avenue in NDG, near the Vendme Metro station. This is west of Decarie Boulevard, one of Montreals main traffic arteries, and minutes from the citys downtown core. The KoSA Centre for the Arts is devoted to presenting and hosting activities such as live performances, general entertainment, cultural activities, corporate events, and special occasions. The main performance hall has a capacity of 300 seated and approximately 400 standing. There is in-house sound, lighting, stage and technical backline available, including a Yamaha Grand piano, amplifiers, microphones, drums and a wide selection of world percussion instruments. The Centre also features user-definable office spaces that are available for companies and individuals; and amenities such as an in-house rehearsal space, VIP areas, food and beverage staff, with on-site parking available.

September 16 & 17, 2009 launch events are to be announced; and/or please see contact info below for details and information.
