Singer, Songwriter and Piano Player Jon Regen, currently touring in-support of the critically-acclaimed EP 'ALMOST HOME,' brings his dynamic band and live show to Boston's famed SCULLERS Jazz Club on Tuesday September 7, 2004. Sets for this One-Night Only Performance will be at 8:00 and 10:00 PM.


In under a decade, Regen has built a distinguished career, working with celebrated artists such as Jimmy Scott,James Carrington and Kyle Eastwood. In the tradition of songsmiths like Billy Joel and Sting, Regen's new disc 'ALMOST HOME' showcases original songs of unparalleled depth and emotion.


With an electrifying new band featuring bass wunderkind Jonathan Sanborn, (son of legendary saxophonist David Sanborn), and powerful drummer Eric Addeo, Jon Regen's 'ALMOST HOME' Tour has been captivating audiences on both sides of the Atlantic.

Regen takes cues from forebears like Randy Newman...both in the sardonic bent of songs like the wry “Only My Credit Card Remembers Where I've Been" and the laconically elegant tenorof “Hold Out Your Heart..." He got a lot of mileage out of clever phrasing, blurring the lines of measures on the “What Am I Supposed to Do From Here," a vaguely Norah Jones-styled amble that proved to be the most overtly jazzy tune of the evening.
