Jazzbone Records has commissioned famous banknote engraver, and stamp designer to produce a portrait of jazz pianist and composer Hank Johnson. Mr. Wallace has been retired from the Bureau of Printing and Engraving, and has agreed to engrave a detailed portrait (similar to U.S. Currency quality) and printed by the intaglio process. Mr. Wallace is famous for his designed U.S. Postage Stamp of “EINSTEIN", in the 1970's. Mr. Wallace also worked on design of the NEW U.S. Currency, and is a top artist/engraver. The portrait is expected to be used on letterheads, stock certificate design when Jazzbone Records goes public. Also the portrait will be used on CD's to indicate the CD is an authorized copy not a counterfeit or bootleg product and other various security applications. Completion of this project is expected by July 2003.
