Jeanne is the matriarch of Minnesota's First Family of Music: The Petersons and her five children are all respected professional musicians.She has the distinction of being one of only two women inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, the other recipient being Judy Garland. In 1997, Jeanne was the recipient of the Midwest Jazz Masters Award.

Jeanne Arland Peterson also has several outstanding previous releases, including “My Calendar" . This CD is an eclectic collection of solo piano pieces for the months of the year with incredible arrangements.
